Strips from the 80's and the 90's are the most difficult to get in their original newspaper format as there are few unchanged comic book reprints from this period to use as a scan source. Even when there is a reprint, like in the italian New Comics Now collection, it’s difficult to find a complete series of newspaper strips in english to use as a source for the typed text. Such wasn’t the case with The Woods, which is, unfortunatelly, an exception, not the rule.

Apart from the Indrajal Comics(V26 N13-14),this was also published in the Diamond Mandrake Digest(No.11 & 58(reprint)),in unedited format.But seeing the original b/w strips is always a treat!Thanks Lothar! :)
